It’s not easy growing up and fitting in… especially if you have a facial deformity. August Pullman, has always been home-schooled, but now he has to go to middle-school and be with kids his own age. And he is different. Very different. He will have to cope with prejudice and meanness. Through the love of his family and friends, he will find the courage to stay in school and gain the love and respect of his peers. Three cheers for Auggie!
